Washington Health System Foundation

Campaign Launched for New Educational Simulation Center

Washington Health System seeks funding to improve Simulation Center education for School of Nursing students and Health System clinical staff. Without putting real patients in danger, skills learned through simulation benefit patients by improving their safety, treatment, and recovery.

Baby HALThe health system will purchase new life-like wireless mannequins - a portable adult male, a pregnant adult female which delivers a simulator baby, and a young child. The $780,000 project includes renovations to create space for obstetrics, pediatrics, disaster training, emergency room, and operating room environments.

You may read more about the project here or visit our online giving page to directly impact local professional education and patient care.

“My father passed away in Donnell House, and I can speak personally to the exemplary care and dedication of the staff in providing end of life care. Consider making a charitable contribution to benefit Donnell House. I think it is important to keep this Hospice Care facility in our community.” – Pat O’Connor
