ATI Pre-entrance Examination

The ATI Health Occupations Admission Examination is a timed 4-hour exam consisting of 4 sub-tests, as follows:

  1. Reading (50 minutes – 40 questions)
    Reading passages and answering comprehension questions about the passages.

  2. Math (56 minutes – 45 questions)
    Includes fractions, decimals, ratios and percents, algebra, metric conversions, and applied math (graphs, scales, etc.)

  3. English (65 minutes – 55 questions)
    Spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and word definitions.

  4. Science (38 minutes – 30 questions)
    Biology, general science, chemistry, physics science reasoning, and logic.

Individuals can self-schedule to take the pre-entrance exam before submitting the application.  The program requires a minimum composite percentile score of 50 or a raw score of 60.  The exam may be taken no more than two times.
