ATI Pre-entrance Exam Instructions

The ATI Health Occupations Admissions Exam will be administered at The Washington Hospital School of Radiologic Technology on the following dates:

 

October 11, 2010
November 08, 2010
December 06, 2010
January 10, 2011
February 07, 2011
March 07, 2011

Scheduling Procedure

1. Select a date from those listed above.
Note: Scheduling an early exam date is advisable. Applicants are scheduled on a first-come, first serve basis.

 

2. Reserve a seat for your selected exam date. Pre-registration of 2 weeks in advance is required. Email rfiem@washingtonhospital.org or call Rena Fiem at (724) 229-2084 weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to schedule your exam.

 

3. Submit the $30.00 non-refundable test fee prior to the scheduled exam date; check or money order made payable to SRT Student Council.

 

4. Establish a username and password on the ATI website at www.atitesting.com. You will not be permitted to sit for the exam without evidence that this step has been completed.

 

5. Arrive at the School of Nursing building one-half hour before the test begins. You will not be permitted to take the examination if you are late but may reschedule.

 

6. Bring the following with you to the exam:

  • Copy of your ATI username and password.
  • Positive Identification (Photo Driver's license is preferred)
  • Several sharpened pencils (Number 2)

 

ATI Pre-Entrance Exam

The ATI Health Occupations Admission Exam is a timed 4-hour exam consisting of 4 sub-tests, as follows:

 

Reading (50 minutes-40 questions)

Reading passages and answering comprehension questions about the passages.

 

Math (56 minues-45 questions)

Includes fractions, decimals, ratios and percents, algebra, metric conversions, and applied math (graphs, scales, etc).

 

English (65 minutes-55 questions)

Spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and word definitions.

 

Science (38 minutes-30 questions)

Biology, general science, chemistry, physics, science reasoning, and logic.
