Behavioral Health

The Washington Hospital’s 30–bed adult inpatient unit provides short–term behavioral health treatment for those experiencing an acute need for such treatment.

Our inpatient treatment focuses on understanding and stabilizing the crisis which led to the need for hospitalization; starting with a thorough physical and mental evaluation of the patient, then developing an individualized treatment plan and coordinating care in a warm, supportive and secure environment which provides 24–hour nursing care.
