Our Team

The Behavioral Health Unit’s multidisciplinary treatment team consists of experienced mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psyhiatric nurses, licensed clinical social workers and recreational therapists.

As part of our evaluation process, patients are first seen by medical providers in the emergency room. Any physiological illnesses discovered will be treated by the appropriate medical specialists prior to and during a stay on the unit, as needed.

We focus on accurately diagnosing the illness, then prescribing the right medications, providing patient education, and teaching coping skills so patients can return to their daily lives.
