Description: |
What: A social skills program specifically designed for adolescents. The students will be working together on such activities as projects, games, and role-playing to help promote healthy, positive interactions with each other. Weekly topics may include but not limited to: - interacting with the opposite sex - establishing social boundaries (friends, strangers, adults, etc.) - problem solving/emergency situations - social etiquette (restaurant, phone, etc.) - communication/conversation skills & cues - developing & maintaining friendships - developing self-confidence & self-advocacy skills - appreciating our differences - responsibility & showing respect Where: Children’s Therapy Center, 2nd Floor When: Tuesdays from 5:40 – 6:30 pm Who: Adolescents ages (approx.) 9-13 yrs. How: Reimbursed by your insurance company as therapy

Interested parties will also be required to have a speech evaluation with a CTC speech pathologist.
