In order to keep your medical costs low, the centers request payment at the time of service unless covered by insurance. Please pay in full upon receipt of your billing statement.


If you have a billing question, please call (724) 223-3100 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and ask for the billing office.

Who can I contact if I have a question regarding my statement?

Please contact the central billing office at (724) 223-3100 and ask for the billing office.

 

If I receive a statement, does this mean I owe the balance?

Yes, if you receive a statement with a patient due balance, you are responsible. If you feel you do not owe the balance, please contact the billing office at (724) 223-3100 so that we may assist you with your billing questions.

 

What if I can not pay my entire bill?

You will need to contact the billing office at (724) 223-3100 as soon as possible and set up payment arrangements.

 

What types of insurance do you accept?

We accept most major insurance companies. Listed are some of the most common:

  • Highmark plans
  • UPMC
  • Medicare and Medicare HMO’s
  • Medicaid and Medicaid HMO’s
  • Health America Plans

If you don’t see your plan listed here, please call the phone number on the back of your insurance card and ask if the Washington Hospital Family is a participating provider.

 

Will you bill my secondary insurance?

Yes, we will bill your primary insurance first, then your secondary insurance. Please make sure to present all insurance cards to the check-in staff prior to your office appointment.

 

When do I owe my co-pay?

Some insurance companies require that co-pays be made at each visit. Your co-pay is due at the checkout window at the end of your visit. We accept cash, check, MasterCard, and Visa.
