The Ruth York Morgan Health Education Learning Place (HELP) is a health information resource for patients, their families, employees and the community.

Information is available on specific diseases, chronic conditions, treatments, medications, supplements as well as preventative and wellness topics.  The health-related information comes from evidence-based journals, current medical books and credible websites of trusted healthcare associations.

The Ruth York Morgan Health Education Learning Place (HELP) was created through the vision and generosity of James and Nancy Cameron in memory of Nancy’s mother, Ruth York Morgan.  Mrs. Morgan was a lifelong resident of Washington, where she participated in a variety of charitable projects.

  • A Registered Nurse is available for assistance in obtaining health related information.  Materials will be mailed or emailed to the requestor, free of charge.
  • You may also visit the Ruth York Morgan Health Education Learning Place which is located within the Medical Library at Washington Hospital, on the 3rd floor.

Features include:

  • Wheelchair accessible computers and support for the visually/hearing impaired.
  • Accommodations for confidential viewing and reading of hospital approved health information.
