Dr. Schmieler

Dr. George C. Schmieler, a true champion of workplace wellness, founded The Washington Hospital Occupational Medicine Center in 1984 and it is still going strong today with more than 900 patient visits per month.

Dr. Schmieler developed the OMC in response to area employer’s requests for a medical provider which specialized in and was familiar with occupational environments and the workers’ compensation system.
