Breast Patient Navigator

Patient navigation is a process by which an individual—a patient navigator—guides patients through and around barriers in the complex cancer care system, to help ensure timely diagnosis and treatment.
Washington Health System Women’s Center provides certified breast patient navigation throughout the patient journey.  The certified breast patient navigator guides patients through diagnosis and treatment by answering questions, providing information about available services and amenities, and ensuring a comfortable experience for the patient.
